This August will be 1 year that i have been a Permanant Resident.
I have not got my drivers liscence switched over, Social insurance number, or applied for OHIP yet, but plan to next week while hubby is on vacation.
We only have one car and he has to drive to work so usually by the time he gets home the offices are already closed, will i have any problems on getting any of the above because of waiting so long?
You probably wont have any major issues, might get asked why it took so long though.

Watch out for the healthcare one if your province has premiums, in BC if you apply after you were eligible they will charge the premiums back to the day you became eligible, and not the actual date you applied/received it.
Thank you, I dont believe that Ontario has the premiums i will double check with the hubby.
I wasnt sure if it would be a problem with the drivers liscence, because of the long amout of time Ive been here with my US liscence.
Just wanted to update this incase someone later on might have the same question as i did...I went to get my drivers liscense after waiting so long and had no problems whats so ever, very quick and easy only an eye exam required.
