I have my medical tommorrow, and i've been trying to find this info out the past few days. What size photo's do I bring to the medical? Canadian Passport size, or Immigration size?
Also, do the pictures need stamps on them or anything?

The DMC asked which form I was bringing; I'm applying outland from within Canada, through Buffalo hopefully. Is it Appendix C?
She also told me that there may be a $60 charge for mailing the forms if out of the country..does this apply if sending through Buffalo? She also demanded cash only as they 'do not have the facilities to do debit' - does this sound legit? :s
Thanks
Ok, just phoned the office, and unfortunately english isn't their strong point.. All they kept saying was 1.5 inch, doesnt matter the dimensions??? So that really didn't help :s what would you guys suggest I take?
The pictures I submitted were the same ones that were submitted with the PR application - immigration size. I had enough copies made when they were done to do both. I don't think they need stamps on them - probably just your name and birthdate. Only cash payment is legit - but having to pay an extra $60 to mail the results out of the country is not . . . they send the results to the Regional Medical Centre in Ottawa - that's where Buffalo will request them from when they're ready to review them.

Yes, Appendix C is the form you want to take with you. The DMP should give you a signed form to submit with the application, but they may just give you a receipt for fees paid. That will be okay - but if you have more than one family member being examined, it'd be helpful for them to write ALL names and birthdates on the receipt . . . not just "Smith Family" and a total, as they did on mine. That caused some confusion at the visa office.
Thanks yet again Robsluv.
Yeah, the $60 to mail sounded very weird to me. I wondered that because i'll be going through buffalo ( I hope.. i'm not yet sure if they'll let me, over London- but i'm writing Buffalo on Appendix C), she may need to send it there, but still sounded a lot for what it was.
Now, I had problems getting immigration size photo's, and was going to print my own. Will home printed photo's be ok? and what paper should they be printed on- gloss or matte gloss?
Thanks!

EDIT: Also, what shows up on the medical? will they reject the application if there is a small amount of alcohol found in my system? :s
My husband had to use immigration sized photos. It says so in appendix c, but our route is inland, so not entirely sure if it's all too different. When he originally had his photos done for his first medical, he had them done at an actual passport photo type place. This time around, we went a much cheaper route -- $11.00 for 8 immigration sized photos at Shoppers Drugmart. I printed the photo specifics page from appendix c and got my husband to bring it along with him.

On both occasions on the back of my husbands photographs, they were stamped with the date and or place.

For my husband, when he visited the DMP, the doctor did a usual check up but a little more through. Our DMP doesn't do the blood work or x-rays, thats done at a hospital.

This a late reply, sorry. I do hope all went well. And I don't *think* they're looking for traces of alcohol on your medical results. Maybe someone else might have better opinions on that though ...
I don't believe they are checking for alcohol or drug use.. on my bloodwork and urine order it shows HIV and syphilis.
