Hiya,
On the CIC website I see the wait times to process skilled worker visas, but they don't make a distinction between those people with arranged employment and those without. Is there a difference? I find it hard to believe that even an employer who is willing to help someone get their visa would be able to wait 20+ months for the paperwork to go through...

Please could you share your stories with me or tell me where (old threads, other forums...) I can find info/personal testimonials on this process?

Under the new process since Nov/08, applications are processed (supposedly) 6-12 months. No special considerations.
