Citizenship application.
Question number 8a Not sure if I need to say yes or no
8b Not sure if I need to say yes or no.
6c. Home country
6d Again home country if we are not PR of any other
country.
when sigining the photo it is mentioned that we need to use black or blue ink Is there a particular pen that we need to use if so what would you all suggest..(Excuse me if I am being really dumb).
On the form IMM5401 we need to write client ID where can I get that .Is it a good idea to pay fees online or at a finicial institution.
BTW did anyone on this forum had to go thru the administrative process when applied for a US visitor visa while being a PR in canada if they have gone thru the administrative process for How long the US visitor visa was issued or did anyone renew it for second time. Thanks for all your time.
8 A (Congratulatory letter) -- I doubt you "need" to say yes or no . . . not sure why "yes" is not an applicant's preferred choice though . . . but overall I doubt this question makes any difference.

and 8 B . . . can't make a mistake on that one. Either is fine. Not sure why someone would say no though. I mean, getting to vote is one of the important parts of becoming a citizen.

6 C is straight forward. No mention of "home" country. It simply asks if you are a "citizen" of any other country (and by birth some people are citizens of a country they have never really lived in) and if so, to list the country or countries (very few PRs would not be a citizen of another country).

6 D is also straight forward, "do you have permanent resident status in any other country?" If you do, you must answer yes, identify the country and identify the date you acquired that status.

Your client ID is clearly displayed on the PR card, in the upper right hand corner of your CoPR, and usually in most other official correspondence you received from CIC during the PR application process.

I think any pen other than something like a felt tip . . . but any pen that will make clear, legible lines/markings, should suffice for signing the photos.

Online payment works well for anyone with secure Internet access and a printer (you must print the receipt) . . . either way should work fine.

Should note, though, there are many other aspects of submitting the citizenship application that are far more important. Among some highlights:

Be sure to base the application on 1095 days of actual, physical presence (if possible), otherwise there will be RQ, the process will be delayed.

Be sure to provide honest, forthcoming information required, including addresses, employment history, and include legible copies of the documents you must submit. Follow the instructions. (It is amazing how often people simply do not follow the instructions . . . including me, I have to remind myself repeatedly to review the instructions.)

Be aware of things that increase the risk of RQ and that you have control over, including travel plans between submitting the application and probable dates for test/interview and oath.
