Congrats on the Sponsorship Approval.
Matthew's e-cas Tracker sent us an email March 27/10 Decision Made on Sponsorship.
April 19/10 e-cas Tracker sent email that they started to process Permanent Resident App April 16/10.
If it was approved they will forward the application to buffalo. You will get a letter from them regarding the sponsorship decision. It will take a little while until the sponsored person receives notification that buffalo has got it.

Got the approval letter on Monday! Hopefully Buffalo is speedy!

What's the typical time between the sponsorship approval and the change on ecas to 'in process'?
I was wondering the same thing but I am thinking maybe a month. My approval letter was dated June 21st so we are on the same time frame. Mine was sent to Buffalo. I hope it's all done really soon as my time for visiting is almost up. ;(

Still no change in ecas or AOR.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It's been a month!
We are both waiting because my sponsorship approval was 6/21/10 and was sent to Buffalo too but I think mine may take longer as I had to answer some of those questions 9 about being turned away at the border that one time and for being on disability they may require more tests even though I am nearly back to good health. So not sure those will be snags or not but I am hoping the person that gets my file can see everything ok and make it simple. ;)

Well I believe the change to 'in process' only really means they have opened our file.. which apparently they haven't bothered to do yet! :(
But you're right.. each day that passes is just one day closer, right?
So true and I do feel that maybe summer is a bit slower but just guessing because people take vacations in summer so maybe less processors too. I am sure they have to stagger them too. :)
I just keep focusing on it being an easy process and sending out positive energy towards the processors. :) That's how I usually handle everything. :)

Seems like everyone really gets their act together in the fall...it's forever stamped into our brains to get into action in September from all those years of school!
