In light of the utter chaos going on on immigration.ca, and the influx of BOGUS users who have tried to join here today, and the fact I haven't the time nor patience to deal with this crap, I am locking down new registrations.
I posted over there, and I will mention here too, the only exception to this is if one of our own members can vouch for someone, or if they personally email me with their ISP email. Everyone has an ISP, or they wouldn't be on the internet, so I don't even want to hear "I don't have an ISP email"
It's very unfortunate because there are people out there who need and deserve some support, but I can't control what goes on over there, it's not my domain. I can only control this site, and I have a responsibility to our good members here. This site WILL remain a troll-free zone.

Thank you! I just stopped in over there before checking this forum, and couldn't believe what was happening! Looks like some kind of psychotic break. I sure hope that those who are looking for genuine immigration information find it. But thanks for keeping us safe!
wondered if we were going to get hit. It has gone whacko over there. that is why I did not even want to suggest RTC. Chelle... sorry you are having to sort through all the nonsense, but thank you for creating a safe place. we all appreciate it very much.

ya thank chelle, i just signed in over there and seen your notice to come here. it looks like a very good site, you done a good gob. i do not know if i can help anyone much. i am just about finished with immagration i hope. after 2 years and more, and one appeal caneled,and they tryed to canel a second time, but the judge stopped them and it went ahead. and we won last thursday. so hopefully my wife and daughter will be here in 3 months maybe. i haven't found anyone that can tell me how long it will take now to finish the paper work.
Thank you for keeping the site troll free. Having a chaotic forum is not particularly helping with the stress involved with immigrating.

Chelle -I thank you, too, for developing this site and keeping it safe. Although there seem to be some very genuine folks over at immigration.ca, I ran into some really nasty backbiting and was really disappointed. I'm just beginning this process in earnest, after having spent the last couple of years preparing for it. I know it's going to be a long haul and I know I'm going to need encouragement and info along the way. I've also learned A LOT already and if I can help someone as a result of my experiences I'm only happy to do so. Cheers, and again, Thanks.
