I dont quite understand the requirements of education....

for example, it says 3 year diplma, and I'm not quite sure how this translates into a uk/scottish education.

I have a Higher National Certificate in Administration and Information Managment, Currently working towards a Open University Diploma and then a Degree. How do you work out your education? also the number of years study, what does that include, is that secondary education onwards?

I know this doesnt quite make sense, but neither does the education category.Confused

1. Straight forward, your elementary and secondary education, you count the years, either 11 or 12 depending on the system when you leave. Where the problem is in the UK is the NVQ as there is nowhere else that has an equivalent. But if you received a diploma that took 3 years with at least 15 hours of study per week, then you would claim either 22 points if you left school after 12 years + 3 year diploma or left after 11 years + 3 diploma gives you 20 points see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/s...cation.asp Incomplete degrees don't count.
