I'm not certain this is the proper forum to post this but here goes. I am a US citizen living and working in the US. My fiance is a Filipino national currently working in Canada through the live-in caregiver program. We are planning on getting married this March in Canada. She will be applying for her PR this May. In looking over her application I am getting a little confused. I will be added in the "Family Members Outside of Canada" and checking "Yes" in the appropriate box to be considered for permanent residence with her. Now the confusioin comes into play where I would think they would want more information on me than just that small amount in section C but from everything I read, it appears they only want family members who are IN Canada to fill out the Schedule 1 - Background/Declaration document. Ultimately I want to be with my soon to be wife in Canada but I need to make sure I send her all the proper forms and information to make her application go smoothly. Am I missing something here? What do I need to include to be considered for PR with her? Thanks.
