Hi everyone! Haven't visited the forums in a long time so as not to drive myself crazy with waiting. But I just checked E-Cas and have a timeline to update!

We mailed our application on July 7, 2009. My husband was approved to sponsor about a month later in August 09. Received an email stating the Buffalo office transferred my file to the NYC office in September.

E-Cas states the following:

We started processing your application on August 18, 2009.

We transferred your application to the New York office on September 22, 2009. The New York office may contact you.

Medical results have been received.
Now I'm really getting excited!

Hubby emailed the consulate today - they were super fast in responding - looks like they're waiting on Mississagua! I wish we had paid the ROP fee up front... oh well!

We note that you have provided us a copy of the receipt showing the Right of Permanent Residence Fee was paid by your sponsor in October 2009. However, please be advised that we have to await the official confirmation from the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga before we are able to finalize the case. Thank you.

New news, just got the following email:

Please be advised that the processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada appears complete. Please submit as soon as possible your valid passport and 4 photos as the validity of your visa will be 08 April 2010. A letter will be sent to your by mail as well.

Had an email from the NYC consulate that our visas were approved... waiting for the passports to be returned to us....

We mailed our application July 7, 2009
Sponsorship was approved August 2009
File was transferred from Buffalo to NYC September 23, 2009
Right of PR fee requested and paid October 2009
Passports requested March 12, 2009
Passports received by NYC March 23, 2009
We landed April 18, 2010 at St. Stephen's, New Brunswick.
