The CSIS received a requset from Immigration officials concerning your appliction . The results, relative to those enquiries,were reported ti CIC.

Once CSIS has reported its advice to CIC.its role in the immigration process is concluded. I would therefore recommend that you redirect you queries concerning this case to officials.

Look like CSIS done the background check on Oct 2007 and send back to CPC-Vegreville on Oct ,2007 or earily ...

But i call the today Feb 13 2008 , they still waiting for it ....

I already send to this copy of letter to CPC-Vegreville Dec, 2007 .
but it is nothing back to me..
anyone has any idea???????

Request FOSS to see when your next BF date is. CSIS may have sent their advice to Vegreville, but until the file is next looked at (on the BF date) the CSIS result won't show up in FOSS, so to the call centre it may appear that CSIS is not finished. Remember, the call centre only has access to FOSS, not to the physical file.

I'm fairly sure this is what happened in my case because at the end of January there was no indication CSIS had finished when I called the call centre, but then the first week of February the call centre said CSIS was done. My BF date was Feb 1st. I very much doubt CSIS sent the advice in exactly at the time of my BF date.

MY case is very delayed, i dont know why ..

(1) RCMP send my reslut to CPC-VEG AUG 2007 .
(2) CSIS send my reslut to CPC_VEG Oct 2007 .
( it is both confromed by RCMP and CSIS)

I know my last BF date is End of Jan .
I called on Jan 31 . call center told me still wating for background checked,
then i called last week, which is begein of Feb, i foggot which data. Call center preson told, one of the Background is fineshd , still wating for other one,when i ask which one, she wont told me .... I guess the one still waitting for is the CSIS result, , but i am not sure,
yeah i order other FOSS note already .. hope can get some information ...
