Not until September 2009.
April 2009 is when I can apply :)
I can apply in early 2009,

These are the exact dates on CIC's calculator for me.

According to the information you provided and assuming nothing else changes, you will meet the basic residence requirement on 2009-01-01, and you will accumulate 1,095 days of physical presence on 2009-01-18.
mine would go on some time in the last quarter of 2009
i would ideally apply in OCt '09

cheers

I have the application filled out, but am not working right now so I have to wait until I am working and have the money for the fees.
CIC received my application last Jan. 19th. I mailed it a week before that.
I'll probably receive the handbook sometime in early March.
Wow one more to be added in the batch then
and March yeh!
that would be good time line i think.
Cheers

My wife is scared to write the test, the sample test Q's on CIC's site are kinda hard, i dont' even know if I'd pass.. what is the pass mark anyways? 50%, 60%, 70% ???

She was eligible last Spring, but we have no extra money to be spending on that now anyways.. shes going to do it in the next year or so, mainly cuz we would like to kids to have CDN Citizenship.. and their US passports expire next year, so might as well just get them CDN ones, easier than going to Consulate in TO for US ones again.. lol..

Just know if your US Citizens, the US requires you to enter the US as a US Citizen. They allow dual citizenship but officially when entering the US your only a US Citizen in the eyes of the US.
