Hi,

We went our application package to Ontario via fed ex and it was there on Jan 17th. It's March 2nd and still no approval here for me in BC. There should be no complications on my part so this delay makes me wonder why its slow.

My husband is in the Philippines (was in the US for the last year working but he just went back to the Philippines where he is a resident) awaiting our paperwork but we thought the first part of approval would be less than a month from other timelines we've seen.

Anyone know of any reason there would be a delay or am I just impatient?

Thanks for your feedback,
Philothea
Have you tried logging into e-cas using the payment receipt number & the sponsor's information?

As per CIC - they are processing applications up to Jan 28 - so I would think you should be hearing something any day
My app was deliverd to them on Feb 9th by courrier - and today updated on the e-cas for the first time that they received my application February 27th and began processing March 2nd. (I logged on as DerbyGirl said with the receipt number and MY info)

SO it does seem as though you are a bit behind.
THanks,

I think we tried it too soon and then didn't try again till you mentioned it (on ecas)

They did get my stuff but unfortunately they did not include my unit number in my address. SOOOO that means I haven't gotten the letter sent out Feb. 10. I changed my address on line to make sure it states the unit number as well but it states it takes 15 days and its March 3rd right now...do you think that means we will get delayed or denied if the letter comes back to them...its their fault for not including the unit number not ours ITS THERE we know it is. Should I call them as well?

Philothea
